Become a Professional Aromatherapist Practitioner

We provide first class IFPA Clinical Aromatherapy accredited Diploma courses for anyone looking to become a professional Aromatherapist with an internationally recognised qualification. The International Federation of Professional Aromatherapist is one of the largest recognised governing bodies for Aromatherapy and is world renowned and respected.
Our courses will provide you with Professional Aromatherapy theory knowledge and practical application training. Upon completion of module 4, after passing the examinations, you will gain a Diploma as a Professional Aromatherapist Practitioner.
This will mean you are qualified to offer Aromatherapy Treatments & Aromatherapy Products to clients. You will be qualified to work as a qualified Aromatherapist Practitioner in a beauty, natural therapy clinic, health environment or set up your own business.
Aromatherapy & Holistic therapies are fast growing complementary therapies which make this an ideal time to qualify. Aromatherapy Treatments are being offered in some NHS practices, Hospitals, Hospices, Complementary Health Clinics, and Private Medical Clinics.
Clinical Aromatherapy
Module 1
This level will introduce you into the history of Aromatherapy, safe methods of use of essential oils for use in the home and in applications for friends and family.
The course includes an introduction into Botany and you will also learn a basic full body massage routine.
Clinical Aromatherapy
Module 2
This second level will start you on your journey to become a Clinical Aromatherapist Practitioner as a Professional.
This course studies further essential oils highlighting the incredible therapeutic properties. We will look at the basics of organic plant chemistry components and introduce you as well to bases suitable for use in aromatherapy. Research and case studies will be introduced and further massage technique will be introduced.
Clinical Aromatherapy
Module 3
In this fascinating module you will learn about the carrier oils and their extraction processes.You will look at all the fascinating therapeutic properties that they have and learn to blend them for various ailments.
You will also study a large number of aromatic waters (hydrolats) that are obtained via the steam distillation process of essential oils and learn to use them in various ways to enhance well being. You will carry on learning about new organic essential oils as we explore the plant families that many of essential oils belong to in clinical aromatherapy. The aroma reflex massage technique will be introduced.
Clinical Aromatherapy
Module 4
This level will cover Pregnancy and Cancer guidelines as set out by the IFPA. We will also look into research and case studies.
You will learn another massage skill as well as a subtle aromatherapy practice. Practical and theory exams.
Our classroom based course price includes the examination fees and student membership of the IFPA.

Online Course Theory Only
Study with us in house or in the comfort of your home. Whichever is best for you we can assure you that we will be there to support you through your studies and beyond. Course fees include all materials needed to complete the course from organic and wildly crafted essential oils, carriers, hydrolats and base products. Student Membership to the IFPA.
This course is online theory only and does not include any massage or Anatomy and Physiology qualification. We do offer Aromatherapy massage in house at one of approved venues and also we require you to obtain a level 3 Anatomy and Physiology qualification as you will need to understand the effects of essential oils on the body systems in order to be able to mix and blend safely and effectively.
It is also ideal if you have a prior massage qualification and want to add the use of essential oils and related products to your treatments and become a Clinical Aromatherapist.
